Crystal Bowersox
Crystal Bowersox was brought to tears Tuesday on "American Idol". The emotional, 24-year-old musician from Toledo, Ohio, was overcome with emotion at the conclusion of Moody rendition of The Impressions "People Get Ready to" on the Fox singing competition. Bowersox later told "Idol" host Ryan Seacrest that her father asked his presence in the audience crying in the night of inspirational songs the unexpected.
"My dad is there," she said, "and this is the first time he's been here." The show, the judges were not paid by the tears from Bowersox, the final participants to the stage. Kara DioGuardi told her that she "trained only those participants." Ellen DeGeneres said Bowersox Performance "Beautiful," while Randy Jackson gave a standing ovation. Simon Cowell said he was glad to see them emotionally Sun "For me it is an entirely different class than what we heard today was evening," said Cowell.
A few were finalists in the selection is not very inspiring tunes, including 27-year-old Casey James of Fort Worth, Texas, with Fleetwood Mac's chastised "Do not Stop", 17-year-old high school student Aaron Kelly of Sonestown, Pa., with R.
